Here at Making HERstory RSA, we are driven by a single goal; to do our part in making the world a better place for all.

Making HERstory RSA, was formed on the 28th May 2020 in the midst of a global pandemic by five teenage friends dedicated to be a force of change within our Cape Town community. A seed planted by this friend group as they hosted a feminine hygiene drive has now bloomed into the fully functional organization of today. 

At Making HERstory RSA, we believe through educating and empowering not only but most importantly, women, youth and children, change can occur. 

We are a charity organization aiming to:

- Empower women, youth & children through the means of education, whether it be done virtually or physically. As well as alleviating poverty within our communities.

At Making HERstory RSA, we bring our aims to life through hosting drives that provide women with essentials such as female hygiene products, formulating free educational workshops about social issues for scholars. We are also a catalyst for communication to the policy making levels of the government, case studies and documented projects to advocate the reality of women but most importantly spark conversation and action on how to empower women in South Africa. 

Our team uses the advances in social media to its full capacity as we maintain a strong social media presence through doing various online campaigns as well as “Learn&Empower” series’.

Join us on our journey as we tackle the prevalent patriarchy and empower the women of our country.
